What a success !
Makers Month featured yarn and textiles in weeks one and two, and the Organiser (Jayne Evans) got together all five Norfolk WSD Guilds, knitters, crocheters, stitchers and related woolly/textile people. The Forum looked amazing and the buzz was infectious.
Visitors crowded in (over 2000 on Saturday alone – and we feel as though we spoke to them all !) and were encouraged and inspired.
Worstead Guild says a big “thank you” to Jayne – not only for giving the public a wonderful experience, but also for putting spinners, weavers and dyers in touch with one another.
We are looking forward to an exciting and stimulating collaboration, and to next year’s Makers Month. Bring it on !!!
